Q. What will happen if I don't purchase encasements?
A. All the treatments in the world will not get rid of your bed bugs if the mattresses and box springs are infested and are not permanently encased. If you don't encase your mattress and box spring, the bed bugs that are breeding in your bed will be biting you every night.

A. Yes, you really do. Bed bugs are easily transfered from room to room. Bed bugs in untreated rooms are free to breed and multiply making it impossible to end the infestation.
Q. Should I eliminate clutter before treating for bed bugs? What should I do with all these items? Should I store them on my porch or garage?
A. You definitely need to eliminate clutter. Bed bugs hide everywhere and clutter is a perfect hiding place for bed bugs. All those items need to be treated: clothes should be washed with Cedar Bug-Free™ Laundry Additive and the other items should be fogged or sprayed with Cedar Bug-Free™ Bed Bug Spray.
Q. Can bed bugs fall from the ceiling?
A. Yes, it happens more often than you think. That is why t's important to treat the walls and ceilings whe you fumigate.
Q. Is there a way to know if furniture will need to be discarded?
A. If you can get to every surface of the furniture then you can treat it. Stuffed furniture is very difficult to treat effectively because bed bugs can hide in the stuffing. There are covers for stuffed furniture that claim to be effective, but unless it's expensive furniture or you are really attached to it, you may want to get rid of it. If you do get rid of it, make sure you label it Infected with Bed Bugs so others won't take it home.
Q. Can I treat in stages? Would it still be effective?
A. It's best to treat all areas at the same time, otherwise it would be easier for bed bugs to re-infest previously treated areas.
